Still sick and totally fed up now. I haven't eaten since Friday lunchtime, struggling with water so no plans to eat anytime soon.

My mum and sister are visiting, which means I'm on the sofa. Generally poor timing, but it does mean I get to show you my camp blanket.

Camp blankets are a Guiding (or Scouting) thing where you get a blanket, and cut a hole in the middle to make it a poncho that you can wear while camping- and also still use as a blanket.
The most important thing about them though are the badges, whenever you get a badge you sew it on and over the years it builds up. I must have about another 20 to sew on, I hate sewing so have put it off forever! The bottom corner that you can't see also contains some badges, it's not quite as empty as it looks.
I've only been involved with Guiding for 4 years, so an happy with my collection, long-time Guiders have always got amazing blankets so that's my aim one day!
