looking the other way

Today I watched a gorgeous sunrise on the Cobb but was disappointed by the other photographers reaction to me. they clearly weren't impressed by the fact that not only did I not have a tripod (SHOCK HORROR!!) but also I had got....a camera manual with me!! which actually was because id written a couple notes for myself for reference on settings! they also were shocked I was using the manual setting!?we all have to learn somewhere so by the time I got home I was very ready for a cuppa and our sunday pancakes!! ( rant over!)

we spent a lovely few hours as a family having a walk on the beach in the SUNSHINE!!!!! it was so warm we took off our coats!

This evening I returned to the Cobb to try and get some photos of the sunset without the pressure of feeling I was doing it wrong. It was much more enjoyable!

Todays blip is looking the other way... because the sunset was pretty cloudy without much colour and I liked the comparison of the sunrise/sunset on the same day.
