Big Sky Day

A lovely day for a walk in the Peak District.

I was recently lent a book of walks in the Peak District, most of the walks we have done many times but there were a few that we had not done one of them was at Roystone Grange.

It was a very interesting walk, with stone quarries, Lime Kiln ruins, Brick Kiln ruins, an ancient burial mound, and a pumping house. Most of the walk was along disused railway lines that gave us big open views of the beautiful scenery. I did take quite a few photographs and found it difficult to pick one for today’s blip, but in the end I decided that this one summed up the day.
