Botanics bound.....

It had been a while, but today we wrapped up, made a 'picnic', and headed over to the Botanics for the day.

The sun was shining and the sky was blue (for the most part).

We chased squirrels, and they chased us.

We spotted a 'hunicorn' on top of the gate at Inverleith Park on our way to the Botanics, which was very exciting.

The kids picked characters from The Gruffalo - and refused to answer to their names, only those of their characters - method acting in the extreme!

A great day - but happy to be home, with the heating on, and dinner in the oven.
