Success!

I decided last night that I would get up early and take some photographs of the half marathon that was being run through Brighton. Then I forgot. When I finally emerged and wandered down to the Marina all, but the very slowest, had arrived and were wending their way home. Even the flags had been removed. However, I then spotted these two men who, as can be seen, had completed the run and kindly agreed to pose for the photograph. I didn't ask them their names, because I always feel uncomfortable about approaching strangers, but they were very nice,
In the afternoon, 5 of us went to Eastbourne and had tea in a self service cafe that serves delicious ice creams. Not what you call sophisticated but it was fun.
