Lilies

I remember walking past a house in our street when I was younger and noticing that they nearly always had a vase of lilies in their window. I thought they were amazingly sophisticated. Now I feel like they're almost my default setting for flowers; that they are a wonderful combination of exoticness, scent, colour (unless they're white of course) and they seem to last for ages too

Busy day of organising - plus a trip to the vets again with Len, to check on progress with the wound. The drain was supposed to come out but there's still quite a bit of oozy stuff so we're back on Wednesday to have it taken out we hope.
