What a beautiful day to wake up to for a change. One of my friends came over this afternoon and we donned our wellies and went for a walk over the fields into the neighbouring village and back. Once over the stile we were met by Rosie who wanted to play, so after indulging her for 10 minutes we continued to cross the little river into the sheep field. It was so lovely to see sunshine and it certainly lifted the spirits.
Now it's just me and the cats for the evening so time to pan fry a steak and pour a glass of wine. Back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks absence so an early night is on the cards. :-)
