Flowers through the registry office window..

Ifound out that I have seriously knackered my lovely 50mm lens - the strap slid off my shoulder & camera (in bag) fell to the tiled floor. There is now an almost imperceptible bend in the lens barrel which means it cannot autofocus, and is rather stiff to focus manually. It would have to be taken to pieces, unbent, recalibrated etc etc - probably cheaper to buy a 'new' second hand one, or for a few pounds more a new new one. Damn. I hate breaking things.. any ideas about good uses for slightly broken lens ??
