An Indian Summer

This is not a real elephant. Just to point this out.

This life-size elephant was sitting on the piazza all day today, part of an advertising campaign for RBS trying to promote a project they are running over the summer called 'An Indian Summer'. Over summer the winning student team gets to go and work in the RBS Mumbai Offices while also volunteering in its many slums to make a difference for the poor people there. Tempting, but I definitely do not have enough time to be able to do the competition before and get my degree!

The only reason I got to see this rather miraculous sight was due to a spontaneous coffee in Curiousitea with Kat, suggested after the lecture as coffee was most definitely needed between that and our seminar. Turned into a very in-depth chat about many things. It is crazy how much lives can interlink at times.

The rest of the day I would call pretty standard. Was definitely strange spending a weekend without Thom, but I do get to see him on Wednesday so all is well!
