I am calling spring is here....

What a really lovely day, it felt like a lovely treat to have the sun. No wind and no rain, bliss.

My poor brain though. On Benelia's recommendation I read All Quiet on the Western Front. Brilliant book, I really enjoyed it. Then I wanted something a little less traumatic, I don't know why I thought the new Jodi Picoult would give me that. Half the book is the life of a Jewish family in the Second World War with lots of Auschwitz descriptions. This was not advertised and my poor head has gone from the trenches to the gas chambers. It did keep me in bed until 11am reading it though.

Then Daisy and I went to play tennis!!! We are both really crap at actually hitting the ball. Next time we need to take a boy who loves running to keep the balls all rounded up for us, we spent most of our time collecting them from all the other courts. Was good fun though.
