Why I love Sutherland..

..went over to S's house this afternoon to have a look at his house and progress. Drove past Clar-Loch on the way and spotted this view of Stac and Arkle.. Took 11 pics and liked this one best..

Normal(ish) Sunday. Breakfast and catch up with the Archers. A came round for some eggs halfway through so missed a bit.. Chopped a crate-full of kindling, and just preparing to call on S when Croftcrafts and The Crofter came round. Then G came round to do some copying. Eventually managed to get changed, and then off to S's. He has a typical stone cottage, and has gutted it, and is now 3/4 of the way to completing the interior of the cottage. Just the lean-to kitchen and conservatory to do after that!!

Heavy hail storm this morning, giving a 10-15 mm covering of hail stones, and it's been lovely since..
