Comfortable

Back to work today, but not before I'd visited the dentist for the first part of my root canal treatment. Root treatment involves drilling out the top of the tooth to expose the pulp tissue which is then scraped out, and the roots (3 in this instance) are cleaned out with tiny files. It's a strange feeling - you're very aware of how deep into your jaw the roots extend since you can feel the movement of the file inside the tooth, though it's not painful. It's all very fascinating if you ask me. Anyway, part 2, where the roots are permanently filled, continues next Monday.

Back to work and non-trivial dental treatment in one day - does life get any better than that?
