Purple crocuses

These lovely tiny flowers were planted by the Rotary Club of Linlithgow Grange in about October 2010 - just before the worst and longest lasting snowfall for a very long time. The poor crocus bulbs didn't stand a chance. They are really small and weak looking but year after year these few struggle through and here they are again 3 years later. Isn't Mother Nature wonderful?
