SETTING MOON

It is always a surprise to see the moon above the hills as we set off on our early morning walk. It seems so close , so large.
Viewed through the camera lens it recedes and becomes a pale spot in the pale sky
The sun is yet to rise.
As we walk round the base of the koppie, the moon disappears and re appears as the landscape changes. Going up the distant koppie it sits on the horizon in the long grass.
