Bembridge Ledge after the Storm
Gest viewed in Large ( L on the keyboard )
Following a night of the huge storm today became a little bit calmer on the side of the Island away from the full force of the wind.
Here at Bembridge Ridge which is an outcrop of rocks forming a shelf close to the shoreline the high seas had obviously churned up the sea bed and there were several places where the embankment behind me had collapsed causing lots of debris and mudslides.
If viewed in large you may be able to spot ships on the horizon which had been anchored to sit out the storm.
Hopefully this is the last of the big ones for a while and all the flooded fields can drain out to sea.
