Fremantle Maritime Museum

Today we had arranged to collect an English couple who have migrated (probably) to Perth to start their married life together. They are friends of a bloke who came to Perth aged 19 to play Rugby and who we took under our wing - that was about 20 years ago. Anyway we drove over the river to pick them up as they don't yet have a car. You really need a car here - its so spread out. Nice couple (for Poms - joking) so we did the "tourist trail" with them. Down to Freo, up the coast and then back to Cottesloe to the Blue Duck for lunch.
I just LOVE this building, the shapes, colours, the sail like roof. Just after I took this, the clouds came in and we actually had a day with a max high temp under 30!!!! Awesome. BUT its going to average 36 for the rest of the week..................
