Hairy Monster of a Tree Trunk

Outside my new abode.

I have just moved into a little tree top cottage - to be my home for the next 2 months. It is set on the side of a deep gully that is landscaped with paths and ponds and animals and a spa pool and the tallest of tall trees. This is the trunk of a palm of some kind with leaves way at the top and an enormous long trunk as it reaches for the sky in competition with the other trees.

I think I am going to be very happy here.
