The other side of the tracks

Taken from the train to chennai....

Now in mamallapuram, found cheapish room....and now a blippause before a but of a wander....although after seventeen hours travel, maybe the main wander will be tomorrow. Have taken room for three nights and aware that I want to start moving north, though next probable stop is south, I think a couple of days dancing around the temples should be enough.

The photo is of a group from one of the small shanty villages that seem to line the rai.ways here. Although they seem less prevelant than I remember....
will write more when rested up. Oddly I think that I already have today's blip also....but you never know....
