Scooter trip

Two days ago we made it out to see some more of rural Cambodia by scooter. We visited locals and schools along the way seeing beautiful sights and meeting some pretty funny kids. Carly enjoyed the school classroom turning it in to a big game of tag and giggles. The school shares grounds with the pagoda for that village so we got to see some pretty cool carvings and the beginnings of a structure which will be a crematory. On the way home we met some pretty funny locals who were very interested in who we are and what were up to. One of them was an old war veteran who couldn't speak a word of English but kindly offered us a seat as we had a drink. It's refreshing to get away from the city life.
