Dusting

On my way up to take my mother in law shopping this morning I caught this view of the Pentlands. We reflected on the fact that just a few years ago I could not drive up the road because of the exceptional depth of snow.

This year's winter has been more normal - and we have been spared the deluges down south. While the snow lay on the ground last night in Buckstone we had none further into town. And everything had melted by this morning.
