Pompeii

104 degrees - scorching heat, but it really added to the atmosphere as we wandered round Pompeii, couldn't resist sneaking a shot of this couple stylishly shading themselves from the heat.

An amazing place, really needed two days to do it justice but we just spent one day wandering round. Seeing the bodies that had been perfectly cocooned in the ashes of Vesuvius was a very weird experience.
