Lauren the snake charmer

The birthday girl (12) doesn't flinch as a baby boa climbs up her face before wrapping itself round her hair bun, where it stayed for half-an-hour.

Fab party this afternoon hosted by Lauren's dad Matt, with snakes, lizards, tarantulas, tree frogs and a crocodile taking over his lounge.

Then there was a flour fight in the kitchen. And apple bobbing which ended with Matt throwing a bucket of water over the girls (and up the walls) after they admitted washing their feet in it before his go.

The clear-up starts tomorrow.
