.......and relax

This is the remains of mr.w's and my sticky toffee pudding, unfortunately we've only had our starter and not our main course as he's putting Heidi into bed. Oooops, I blame it on the exceptionally lovely vino and a very relaxed state of being! I'm going to have to pretend there was no pudding!

We have come to one of my 2 favourite places in the world for half term, I have to nip back for a couple of days of work but it feels like home already. I have been coming to this lovely market town for 21 years now as mr.w went to school nearby and his parents had a cottage here ever since. I went to uni not far away and we used to arrive, put all the heating on, have hot hot long long baths and survive on about £5 for the whole weekend. India and Heidi have been coming since they were a couple of months old and love it so much too. The drive took ages as there was a motorway jam so we went a very roundabout way. My car needed a good thrashing according to mr.w, Heidi and I nearly threw up consequently. As we arrived to the very outskirts of the town I leapt out with the dogs and walked the last half an hour in the almost dark. I felt better and better with every step. I love this place.
