Soaking up some welcome rays

I am house - and dog - sitting for friends, while they are away skiing.

After a very stormy night, my dog (front) and their two, enjoyed the warmth from a shaft of sunlight.

In other news:
A large sink hole, some 20 ft deep appeared in a cul-de-sac in Hemel Hempstead this morning.

Apparently police are looking into it.
