Sunshine? I remember it...

I've been baking today. My colleagues will get the benefit of it on Monday, though I'm not terribly happy with the chocolate buttercream filling.

I finished reading Ian Rankin's The Complaints this morning. Really enjoyed it - I'd held off reading it for a while as I wasn't sure I'd enjoy Rankin without Rebus. I was wrong.

I'm now watching Tony Robinson's Walking Through History programme about St Cuthbert. Being from Durham, Cuthbert's one of the best known saints to me. The programme's also making me want to do more hillwalking and long-distance walking. I did the Dales Way from Ilkley to Windermere a few years back but I'd love to do another, the West Highland Way appeals.
