The accidental finding

The Sessions Bar

I'm at Cheltenham folk festival, working a couple of hours a day as a steward at the childrens' creche. We took part in a lovely procession today, as last year, with children in costumes and items they had made, with a theme of "The Owl and the Pussycat". My little breakaway gang had decided to make a luxury ocean liner, and push it around the route on a three wheeler buggy with awkward steering!

I couldn't take lots of photos as both of my batteries are on the blink. One is charging up right now, but I might even go out tonight to the gigs without my camera! Shock horror. I'll be back at the festival tomorrow, though, camera in hand. I considered bringing the 50D but felt it might be too great a hassle to lug it around.

So here's one from the session bar, in the squeeze box section. I popped in there before my shift. I'm not sure if any of these people are actually asleep....

Now I must eat and run, because I've just realised I've only got a blue pass, so will only get into a gig/concert if there are spare seats not occupied by paying customers! I get the feeling that numbers are down this year, though.
