The road home

A quick vine blip today (the first in nearly a fortnight), on the way home from the supermarket. The light was constantly changing, but it was difficult to find a good spot to take a photo. We are on a freezer-emptying mission, so tonight's dinner is a leg of one of our neighbour Magali's lambs, roasted using the 30-minute method. Pommes dauphinoises to go with it, salad to start, and a cherry tart for afters (with frozen cherries of course!). Nice and simple after yesterday evening's 5-course extravaganza prepared by S. His presentation wasn't as fancy as Thursday's, but it was prepared with love, and that makes all the difference.

Oh -- if you go large, you may spot a pylon.
