Nature Walk

Another Saturday morning of shopping, followed by a gentle stroll along the Blackwater River at Shepherd Meadows, Sandhurst. Mindful that DDW's February 2014 Alphabet Challenge was now on the letter N , I remembered that this area was named for David Shepherd - "Great", I thought, "a naturalist", but of course I was wrong: he is a renown Wildlife Artist and Conservationist. Still, this area is a SSI and is managed for its nature conservation importance, so I hope I get away with it!

For Bobsbitz59's Technique Challenge I have tried to show the high, fast moving water by use of a slow shutter speed giving Blurred Movement. The light was a touch bright, and I had left all my filters at home, but hopefully you can just see the effect around the bottom of the fencing.
