Sweet Treats

A rather cold start to the weekend here. No sunshine today :(

I had made this cake for Martin yesterday as the boys had requested cupcakes to take for their respective GFs to school ... and plenty of leftover cake batter to make a heart for my darling too! Very simple, very tasty, thankfully, and very much enjoyed.

Good day of relaxation and a wonderful evening with our dear friends Roberto & Elizabeth to have a Thai meal prepared by E followed by a riveting round of Canasta. I think they're hooked! YEEEEESSS!!! The girls won, btw. I'll sleep well tonight.
