Sunny

Well, so far today it's been sunny and it was nice to see the crocuses glowing in the bright light.

The wind was the strongest and wildest we'd ever heard last night - quite alarming actually, so it was strange to look out this morning and see everything looking the same. No trees were down within view, our fence was still hanging on and the puddle lakes had mostly evaporated from the garden. I realise that many people will not have been as fortunate.

Off to copy the news sheet soon, so will be able to sample the still strong winds - if the rain doesn't arrive as predicted, in which case will take the car!
