Happy Valentines Day

Roses are red,
Tulips are too,
Wellington for Valentines,
And Lizzie got Gold, phew!

It's everyone's favourite day - Valentines - and Jenny, Monkey & me have had a feast that old St. Valentine would be proud of. Jenny rustled up a delicious Beef Wellington, with dauphinoise potatoes & savoy cabbage. We enjoyed a glass or three of champers & finished off our meal with some sweet little cherry cheesecake pots. Oh my!

As an indulgent evening in was our way of celebrating the day, we chose the Breakfast Club for our entertainment & what a wonderful, funny & at times touching on dark film it is. This was a little extra surprise for Jenny as she didn't know I'd bought it & it thankfully only arrived today! Close call Cupid.

And what a momentous day it has been too with GB's Olympic success in the Skeleton with Lizzie Yarnold taking Gold. Fantastic!
