New way of life?

A new notice at our marina in Kirkintilloch. Scottish Canals are pushing permanent living afloat hard as a new use of the canals, eventually including some residential moorings in our little marina. The 'Blue Hue' is their showboat - we saw her last year on the system, a very strangely styled modern ex-hire boat, and this now makes sense. Living on a boat is a very cost effective way to live - but is only for those ready for the strangeness of life in a 6'10" wide metal tube! They have details on their website.
