Another shot for the AOG...Debbi's Alternative Olympic Games. But this one...it not be funny...it be serious.

After waiting for four long years to do your thing...there are only 3 people or teams who go home happy. Gold...silver...bronze. That's it.

I watched our Skeleton girl tonight finish in 4th by 4/hundreths of a second. 4/1ooths!!! Then...the announcer had to stick the microphone in her face. "How do you feel right now?" HOW DO YOU THINK SHE FEELS? SHE JUST FINISHED IN FOURTH PLACE!!!

So...this picture is for all of the people who don't win...who stand on top of their hill or platform...and think about what might have been. Must be hard.

I've been having a lot of mixed feelings this week. Todays feelings took place at a boat launch. The charter boats come in...often with fish. The fishing purists clean their fish, and toss the bones into the garbage can. But...most of the boat captains toss the garbage to the waiting birds. Which turns them into bird beggars.

What's the other side? It turns into some great photo ops for me. Takeoffs, landings, fights.

Pictures are like the Olympics. You get a few winners...and you get a lot of losers. Think about that...contemplate about that.
