Day of the Triffids

A generally dull and damp day today, although the hardy local cricket team are still playing. I decided seeing as though it was so miserable I would stay close to the house and do some chores. So housework done, washing done, and even squeezed in watching another Elizabeth win gold for Team GB :-)
Went out to photograph a beautiful trailing plan I've got that I don't know the name of but instead spotted these dead flowers (I was going to say they were marigolds but not sure )
