For the Record

Not a great photo, but I wanted to just record the fact that the Baltinglass Folk Group launched their CD tonight (actually Thursday night, but this photo went over the midnight hour). I used to sing with them a couple of years ago and it is great to see how far they have come.

The CD was launched at a concert they put on featuring the singing priest Fr. Liam Lawton and Roisin Jackman, a young soprano singer along with other musicians. The night was very well done with slide shows and great visuals as well as music.

Fellow blipper, Old Mills, was there taking photos and you can have a look of how he enjoyed the night on his entry for that night (havn't figured out the links bit yet).
