Gutenberg Bible

I visited the Huntington Library in San Marino, California. The Huntington Library is on an enormous estate and houses an extensive art collection and a collection of rare books and manuscripts. This photo is one of the 11 Gutenberg Bibles in existence. We also saw manuscripts from George Washington, Chaucer, Thomas Jefferson, Abrahman Lincoln, Henry David Thoreau ...

The Library is located on beautiful a 120 acre property with beautiful botanical gardens. So much to see but I was blown away seeing the manuscripts.
