Friday: Spring?

I was walking through Flower Square this afternoon - I have always liked this building and the blue sky set it off nicely.

Long may these lovely blue skies last!  Spring certainly felt in the air today - the temperatures were pleasant, and the outdoor seating areas in the cafes were pretty full!    I think I am definitely ready to move out of winter.  

Rather unlike us, we have succumbed to Valentine's Day......a bit.  We normally resist since we don't think we need one particular day to celebrate but we did have a roast dinner tonight that included heart-shaped roast potatoes and carrots - hand-carved by K.  We held back from trying to carve the peas into hearts though...........
