Chironomids - nonbiting midges

On the way back from Fife to Glasgow we stopped at Loch Leven and had a walk down to the Loch along the Heritage Trail & then along to Burleigh Sands where we spied this amazing carving and other carvings on the welcoming benches near the Loch.
