Limerick

Four of us took a quick trip to Limerick yesterday and stayed the night... I was there to take photos while the other three were there for company.... The first pub we came across was The White House with the promise of a poetry reading at 9:30pm... As we arrived at 430pm we were a tad early.... The photo is of a new apt plaque placed outside on the pub wall... For a town devastated by the recent floods they are braving it out magnificently. We managed to find the poetry reading, a trad session in McGuires, a rock session in The Tavern, an excellent Chinese meal in The Jade Palace and an acoustic set in Dolans to finish the evening...and found our hotel where we wound down with some Baileys on ice...great to be with friends....just saying
