Valentine Girl

A year ago Mayar had just arrived at Dogs Trust in Glasgow as a very scared and stressed dog. The staff were so keen to get her out of kennels quickly that they named her Juliet and advertised that she was looking for her Romeo for Valentines day. Fortunately for all of us she stayed in the kennel for another 2 weeks before we walked in and instantly fell in love. I don't like to think what she went through during that time - the kennel staff were brilliant but she just couldn't cope with being there (she came home with tablets to help calm her stress) but if she hadn't had those rocky 2 weeks she wouldn't have eventually come home with us.
This is a picture of a relaxed and happy Mayar, a huge difference to the picture of Juliet last year :D
