Grey Sky, Grey Snow, Grey mountains

.... but at the end of our route, a cosy restaurant with tables decorated with single white rose heads immersed in water in glass vases and a wonderful wood burning stove to warm us up. Maybe I should have taken a photo inside the restaurant but my camera is always happiest outside so this is taken on the doorstep, the border of two very different worlds.

This is the chalet of the Alpine Garden, Pont de Nant above Bex, Vaud.
