Another painting

A long and, at times, stressful day so didn't have time for a considered blip.
If I had a pet or children or a garden in bloom I'd be photoing those, but in lieu of that, here's the landscape I painted this morning in class.

The rest of the day was spent packing up my Dad and moving him into the nursing home. I'd prepared myself for the worst but in the end it wasn't too bad. And the staff there are lovely.
I'll be back out at his sheltered housing tomorrow to pack up the rest of his stuff and then visiting him in the new place to see how he got on overnight.

But this evening I'm sitting down to enjoy a large glass of Chardonnay and some Olympic figure skating - My drugs of choice!!
