Apple Squash.

This is a victim of the recent high winds..my favourite apple tree in our garden. It was a Lord Derby, a victorian cooking apple that was actually sweet enough to use as an eating apple. On the plus side we can replenish our winter log supply, nothing was damaged and no one was hurt.
