St Katherine Docks
I walked through here this morning on the way to work.
The docks are a peaceful little haven right in the middle of the city.
They were designed by the Scottish master engineer, Thomas Telford in the early 1800s. He was one hell of a busy man! His list of projects and achievements is something else! He had a finger in many infrastructure pies!
It's a lousy day weather wise today in town now. The latest storm has now reached central London and the water is running off of the tall buildings like waterfalls.
It's fair blowing a 'hoolie' outside.
I'll be heading north again soon, flying to Glasgow early evening. Looks like a strong tail wind will be blowing me home in double quick time today!
