Scary flower head.

I stupidly ventured out of the house today in the gales and torrential rain and battled my way along to EIF to search for some new (old) furniture. Unfortunately there wasn't anything I fancied so it's back to scouring Gumtree - the only problem with that is not knowing anyone with a van to go and collect things! Still, I'll keep an eye out. I particularly want a good sturdy drop leaf table that I can take out to paint my artistic masterpieces on - at the moment all I have is a very small coffee table...it's not aiding the creative process... ;)
I'm also after a retro sideboard I can up-cycle but that's not quite so pressing. And possibly a chest of drawers for my bedroom and a nice chair to read in and another bookcase...
I'll keep looking....

Anyway, didn't have much luck on the furniture front but thought as I was already out and about I'd go and catch up with my sister so I braved the weather some more and popped up to Bruntsfield to have coffee with Claire :D
Dropped in to see the Ginger Menace too but he really wasn't up for chats n cuddles today, just gave me a disdainful look then wandered off. I'm clearly not in favour at the moment, fickle creature!
