My lovely mum.

This is my mum. She is an amazing and lovely person and last April she was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. The last 10 months have been really hard for the whole family as we have seen her and my Dad battle through a punishing round of chemo to stall the disease and are now dealing with the aftermath of the brutal treatment.

I have been lucky in my life and have never seen this cruel disease at such close quarters before. It steals your life but also your energy and vitality.

My mum has gone through all this with calm and dignity and has kept positive. She was given 6 months back in April so 10 months later every day is a gift to us.
