London Bound

Big news!

Last Friday, while sitting having a quiet drink at the pub before meeting Ange for our night out, Damian and I were talking about my job situation (or lack there of) and I was complaining that there was no work here but a ridiculous amount in the UK.

Damian, being his amazing self asked "Well, why couldn't you just go to the UK for 6 months?" and set about convincing me that was no real reason I shouldn't give it a go. And so an idea I hadn't considered suddenly became a very real possibility.

After a busy week of paperwork and phone calls, today I walked into the British Consulate in Melbourne to complete my Visa application. I'll send it off for processing on Monday, and once it comes back, I'll be booking my ticket to London Town!

Just like that, a new adventure begins! Life is unpredictable and scary and wonderful. I'm so very excited.
