AOG - Security even tighter for Team OZ

Even though the Aussie Team is in disarray, and despite Lois staging a "Sit In" over the Ice Dancing Arena fiasco there was an exhilarating and spine tingling moment at the Alternative Olympics today.

It was time for the Aussies to bring out the "Big Guns". Keryl, Keith and Katrina Cockatoo brought the entire stadium to their feet when they competed in the final of the aerobatic ski jumping. I think they had decided it was time to take the focus off Diva Lois and show the other countries just what Aussies are made of. We were lucky to secure this close up of Keith as he lead the team off the final jump! I really encourage you to view the Blip in LARGE!!

On a more sombre note, the Aussie Manager decided to take the food poisoning threat seriously and brought in Colin Cockatoo to taste all food to make sure it passed muster before being served to the Aussie athletes. We found Colin tucking in to testing a Banksia cone out at Hargraves Lookout early this morning.

All in all a breathtaking day for Team Oz!
