Beautiful handwriting

I'm all about old books now. Saw this beautiful handwriting in one of them. Thought it looked kind of feminine although I'm pretty sure no women ever worked as a writer for the sherrifs department in the early 19th century.

Went to a book critic at the history society tonight. They were reveiwing resently published academic books in history. The reveiws were mild and I guess since the academic history community is so small here everybody knows everybody and are maybe not ready to be too harsh. Or maybe the books were just that good :)
