This wonderful mural was originally created in 1984 by C J Finlayson and has been repainted twice since then. It appears on the side of a building on Nelson's foreshore. Eye catching and innovative I'm sure it must be an attraction for many.

Many thanks indeed for the overwhelming response to my Sunrise 365 yesterday. So many comments and stars and faves! I was really taken aback. I've never had an image hit the top spot in Spotlight before either. I'm not going to be able to respond for a while because it's back to the wilds now; no wifi and very poor reception.
